SunTrust Atlantic Energies Limited with its JV Partner, (“SunTrust Atlantic”), is happy to announce the commencement of the UMU C2 drilling project.

The primary objective of UMU C2 well is to drill a slightly deviated well that will transverse all the sands in the Central culmination up to a depth of 10,859ftMD. The Well will target some of the sands already encountered by other wells in the UMU C2 central culmination.

Dr. Ugo Okafor disclosed that UMU C2, which will be drilled at the UMU C2 central location, is part of SunTrust Atlantic’s aggressive drilling campaign that commenced in 2024 aimed at sustaining and improving production levels at the Umusadege field.
